Stephen and Heidi, from Red Deer, are expecting their fist baby in four weeks. They wanted to have their portraits done with a mountain backdrop so Canmore was the perfect fit.

They arrived last Sunday for their session to rain, drizzle and the lowest cloud-cover we have seen here in months.

I brainstormed...  where I would get some great views? East bound we went.  Lucky, in the direction of Calgary the cloud cover was not so dismal and we pulled over to what looked like a great location.

With a telephoto lens and a hint of creativity we made a rather un-entertaining view into a pretty mountains  backdrop .  A very successful shoot overall.  

I can not wait to do another photo session when their baby arrives!
